About us
Jaibaná is a company that associates indigenous tribes that are currently dedicated to fabricate autochthonous handicrafts for their economic sustenance in the big cities. The association was created in 2019 after carrying out a study of the social conditions of indigenous people in some states of Colombia. Who were forced to abandon their land and now live in the cities trying to earn a living by selling their handcrafts. Jaibaná was created to give peace of mind to indigenous artisans, helping them to market their products nationally and internationally and also training them to offer better service and quality in their products. We believe that it is possible to make people aware of the importance of using environmentally friendly items and at the same time highlighting and rescuing the cultural role of the indigenous at the actuality.
